Dreamtek recently broadcasted a live interview with Lawson the popular English pop band on a Google+ Hangout.
The reason we chose a Google+ Hangout is because it’s a reliable platform to broadcast live in HD on Google+, YouTube, and your website. Its also recorded and automatically saved on your YouTube channel for your subscribers to watch back at their leisure.
Another great feature we used is the Google+ Hangout ‘Live Conversations’. We used this to take questions from Lawson’s fan base in advance of the interview. We then selected the most popular ones to ask in the live Hangout. It was a great way to involve the audience and interact with them before and during the hangout.
In total we had 572 viewers watching the live broadcast, and the numbers keep going up on our recorded version on the Dreamtek YouTube channel, we couldn’t be happier with the outcome and want to thank all the fans for getting involved.

Google+ Hangouts : From Prince Charles to Rick Ross
As someone who has been producing Google+ Hangouts with the Dreamtek production team for the last three years. I’ve seen massive growth in the take up by brands, events and superstars in using the platform to spread a message.
To give you an idea these are the Hangouts Dreamtek have been fortunate to be involved just during November. It was a busy month! Some big productions, some intimate low key affairs. Spanning several countries, generations and hairstyles!
We kicked off with an LA based soccer “digital friendly” with Fox Sports pitting FC Bayern Munich vs AS Roma but it was their brain power not their foot skills in a hangout based quiz. (Spoiler alert Roma won!)
The guys at Canal+ organised a screening of the Imitation Game at Google HQ followed by a Hangout with Intelligence Ops family members of Benedict Cumberbatch’s character Alan Turing and producers of the film.
Back to sport with a novel idea from the guys at Barclaycard. A chance to Hangout with Pat Cash and chew over who is the greatest player of all time in a virtual tourney! Pat as usual was outspoken but had a lot of time for our amateur’s views. Can you guess who they picked?
Paloma Faith became #Palomaface with a Hangout class on makeup.
We had two ends of the boy band spectrum using Hangouts with us, Union J having a laugh at Sony HQ and One Direction breaking the internet with the promise of an exclusive announcement, questions and acoustic performance.
We then had a week of titans HRH the Prince of Wales talking passionately about the Step up to serve charity and connecting to it’s young patrons from Clarence House which coincided with lots of chat about the likelihood we will have an outspoken future king…
Followed by the prince of dark matter Professor Brian Cox! Hanging out with schools across the country and taking every question and coming back with a pearl of wisdom. Try and keep up at the back!
Rick Ross Kept it real and we were there in New York to help on the #Hoodbillionaire Google Hangout.
And to close the month we have more football with a Q+ A at AFC Bournemouth a Cookalong with Henry Harris for The Times and a clever twist on the beauty vlogger format for a DailyMix Hangout special for the #dailymixsleepover.
It bowls me over how varied these Hangouts are can’t wait for the next one!

The Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) is a combat support agency that plans, engineers, and maintains global net-centric solutions serving a diverse group of autonomously managed United States Department of Defense (DoD) enterprises.

Webcasting is a great way to get your message out to a wide audience. According to Principal Analyst at Frost & Sullivan the Enterprise Video Webcasting market will grow to $500M by 2017. The technology of webcasting software and hardware has developed at a rapid rate and the sophistication and quality that can be achieved is far superior to the dull powerpoint presentations you will have seen in the past.
Companies are now looking for video webcasting platforms that manage the complete process of creation, capture, ingest, encoding/transcoding, management and delivery of video webcasts.
